At 16 I began volunteering as a math tutor for freshmen, trained by Culver City’s Director of Secondary Education. Six months later I was hired as a Mathnasium Instructor. Over the next four years, I became addicted to sharing my intuitive approach to math.

It’s rare to find a young private tutor with extensive professional experience, a combination that brings relatability and efficiency. I was in fourth grade when Common Core arrived, making me one of the first tutors who understands first hand what today’s students encounter.

I leverage this to guide students on an efficient path inspired by my own academic journey. I also focus on open-ended questions and communication to understand how the student thinks and personalize lessons to fit their baseline. That’s why a free consultation is required to make sure we’re all a happy fit.
